  • Graphic Novels (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish)
  • Linguistic books on languages of India, donation from the Oriental Institute
  • The Lambda Library for French and German literature
  • Russian classics films on DVD, a donation
  • The Sign Language collection
  • The PlĂ©iade collection of French literature
  • The CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) collection of CD-ROMS. They are shelved with the CDs
  • Reading room and individual booths
  • A reader workstation PC to access SOLO catalogue and internet (as used in the Bodleian Libraries)
  • Four CD-DVD players in the booths
  • Drinks machine and water dispensers are available on each floor of the Language Centre

There are no photocopying facilities in the library at present. Items borrowed from the library may only be copied in compliance with the University's CLA licences for personal research or for teaching. For more information, see:
